While at General Assembly, our team was given a task of adding a charitable giving feature to Venmo.
• Lead the visual design aspect of the project

• Conducted user interviews (both in-person and remote) and created user personas

• Gathered data for competitive analysis

• Performed iterative rounds of usability testing to ensure intuitive user flow
The biggest takeaway from this project was learning to utilize surveys and interviews to create viable personas in order to align our vision. We had a lot of disagreements amongst the team members in the beginning stages of the project. However, once our user personas were established from real interviews and surveys, it created a shared vision and goal for all the members of the team to get behind.
