While at General Assembly, our team was given a task of adding a charitable giving feature to Venmo.
• Lead the visual design aspect of the project

• Conducted user interviews (both in-person and remote) and created user personas

• Gathered data for competitive analysis

• Performed iterative rounds of usability testing to ensure intuitive user flow
• The biggest takeaway from this project was learning to utilize surveys and interviews to create viable personas in order to align our vision. We had a lot of disagreements amongst the team members in the beginning stages of the project. However, once our user personas were established from real interviews and surveys, it created a shared vision and goal for all the members of the team to get behind.
